Axl Rose and the Letter “M” – I don’t think you’re ready for this one. Axl Rose has one of the strangest superstitions on this list. He absolutely hates the letter “M”. Although we don’t know exactly WHY he hates it so much, we know that he simply believes that it brings him bad luck. His hate and fear are so strong, that he avoids the cities that begin with this letter. Apparently, the cities that simply contain the letter “M” don’t bother him that much.
Kanye West and AIDS – I think it’s safe to say that Kanye West is one of the most talented artists in recent memory, but he does love a good episode of controversy over the public display of crazy beliefs. One of the most controversial beliefs he had was publicly displayed during a 2005 concert. West made the shocking announcement that he believes that AIDS is man-made by humans and that this disease was placed in Africa, the exact same way crack was placed in the black community to break up the Black Panthers.
Celebrities Who Believe 9/11 Was an Inside Job – September 11th, 2001, remains in American history as one of the darkest days. All the way back then, there were a number of celebrities who believed that 9/11 was an inside job, and it was a lie perpetrated by the U.S. government itself. Among those celebrities were Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Charlie Sheen and Willie Nelson.
Tom Cruise and Scientology – If Axl Rose won the throne for the most bizarre superstition, Tom Cruise’s is definitely the most famous. Tom Cruise is one of the biggest and richest movie stars of all time. He has been making headlines for years, thanks to his connection to Scientology. This religion itself is extremely vast and confusing, and it’s seen by many as a cult, more than a religion. Basically, Scientologists believe that mental health issues aren’t real and that an alien “Xenu” brought billions of people to the earth 75million years ago.
Jenny McCarthy and Vaccines/Autism – You’ve probably heard of Jenny McCarthy, who is best known for appearing in “Playboy”, and parlaying her “Playboy” triumph into a TV show and a film career. Her son was diagnosed with autism, which led her to believe that vaccines were the culprits for her son’s condition.
