You’re Isolated From the Team

Left out of team activities and important meetings? Well, if it happens more than twice, it’s not an accident. When you feel like you’re an outsider, even if you’ve been in the company for more than ten years, maybe your boss wants you to retire, and that’s how he/she approaches things.

No matter how old you are, you shouldn’t feel isolated from the group. Isolation leads to several problems, including depression. Have a frank conversation with your colleagues and boss… If nothing seems to change after that, go to HR. Human resources professionals are there for you, and you will most likely receive impartial advice.
