11. Investigating New Media

Spending hours on end indoors means that we had to look for ways to stay entertained. After a while, even binge-watching Netflix can become tedious and boring. So looking for new ways to spend your downtime is crucial in order to keep boredom at bay and your mental health intact.

If you haven’t already, start by looking for new media such as audiobooks and podcasts. If your library is offering free movies and e-books, there’s no reason to avoid learning how to download them.

Always be on the lookout for new things that can keep you entertained, you never know what you could discover or learn!

12. Learning to Work From Home

And, finally, learning how to work from home. For a lot of people, working from home wasn’t even possible. But for those who managed to stay indoors, it was and still is important to learn how to do your job even when you’re not physically in the office.

It’s not only crucial for you to have the technical know-how, but you should also learn how to stay focused.

Who knows, there may come a time when you’ll convert to working from home full time. It’ll be important to organize your workspace in such a way that you’ll keep distractions at bay, for example.

Do you agree with our list? What are some other things you’ve learned during the pandemic that you think should remain in your daily or weekly routine?
