A lot of people, whether they travel frequently or not, hate the thought of anything happening to them while traveling by plane. This is likely why so many of us jump at the opportunity of getting flight insurance which provides death and dismemberment coverage.
But wait up! Your current life insurance policy may already cover this so what’s the point in paying for another layer of the exact same thing?
Not only that but despite our prevalent fears, the chances of anything happening during flight are unbelievably low. We might think flight mishaps happen a lot more often because when we do hear about them on the news they’re quite shocking.

Don’t get us wrong, being prepared in case something happens to your furry friend is a must… but does it make sense to pay for pet insurance? In some cases, yes, especially if your breed is predisposed to extensive ailments.
Most pet owners will attest to this, it’s better and cheaper to just set up an emergency fund for your pets!
