7 Unnecessary Ways To Spend Your Money

Taking expiration dates as law- There are some types of perishable foods with expiration dates that indeed hold more authority. But when it comes to a food product that might last longer than it says, you shouldn’t rush to throw it away. If it has been stored in a cool, dry area, it’s probably still good to eat.
Paying for cable – It might seem like a strange idea, but it’s more achievable than you think. Why would you keep paying the cable, when there’s a bazillion TV and movie streaming services and other non-cable options out there? Plus, if you think about it, any streaming service is cheaper than paying for cable, and you don’t have to pay for something you don’t want to see.
Only using credit/debit cards – Although it might be convenient, it’s also extremely ignorant. If you pay for things only with your card, it’s way easier to spend more than you initially planned, because you aren’t seeing the money. You just punch in a few buttons, and you buy stuff. Trust me, you probably wouldn’t be this liberal with your spending if you saw the cash fly rapidly away. If you use mobile banking or money management apps and you’re satisfied with the results, keep on doing it. But if you don’t use any of these and you’re unhappy, consider making weekly trips to your bank or ATM and withdrawing a fixed amount of money for spending.
