Here’s How Amazon Gets You to Spend More Money

Kindle Promotions

Amazon Kindle is actually the first e-book reader to let customers download new ebooks directly to Amazon’s platform itself. However, as cool as it may sound for most of us, next time you or your spouse see a “great promotion” for an Amazon Kindle, reconsider your thoughts.

Why? Because this great deal might cost you more in the long run. Kindle owners tend to spend a big chunk of money every single year at Amazon (an average of $1,450) than customers who don’t have Kindles ($725). And yes, some ebooks are free of charge, but I bet you’re tempted to get those ebooks that do have a price tag displayed on Amazon.
