From gadgets and books to pet supplies and toys, Amazon has everything you could possibly want to purchase. There’s no wonder why it’s America’s favorite online retailer. With just a few clicks, you can buy everything your household needs and even more. If one thing is for sure, it’s the fact that Amazon is super-convenient for most of us.

But is it really what we need most times? Amazon has great perks and discounts indeed, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the best possible deal every single time you find yourself scrolling on Amazon’s platform. Just like any other retailer, Amazon uses some marketing tactics to make you spend more than you actually want.
