Amazon Prime Memberships

We all know about Amazon’s customer loyalty program, but what we may not know is the fact that the giant online retailer created the program in order to get its customers to spend even more. Market Watch says that as of January 2021, almost 142 million people in our country had Amazon Prime memberships.

An Amazon Prime membership offers same-day delivery in some areas, free expedited shipping, unlimited music and video streaming, discounts on video games, and early access to super deals. Owning an Amazon Prime membership has its perks, but it seems that people who have access to this type of loyalty program tend to spend $1,000 or more annually than non-Prime shoppers.

So, is it worth it?
