Here’s How Americans Are Spending Their Stimulus Money

It should come as little to no surprise (I guess…) that most Americans have spent their stimulus money on groceries. In fact, it seems that more than 84 percent of people who earn less than $75,000 in a year used their stimulus money to buy food.

When it comes to all salary brackets, a percentage of 56 percent of people who received stimulus checks spent those much-needed dollars on food. Walmart’s spokesman even said that the store saw a huge increase in sales when stimulus checks hit Americans’ pockets.

And that’s not all… Meat, vegetables, and fruit (expensive produce) were in demand during that period. The world’s largest retailer is pretty confident saying that they will most likely see another spike in sales due to the last round of checks.
