During a time in which we probably should have focused more on American businesses and innovation, it’s rather surprising that the European import has made it on the list, right?
But, you know what? Instead of disparaging Lidl for not being American owned, we think shoppers and companies alike have a lot to learn from them! Let’s see, where should we even start?
What about the fact that last fall, the company has started rolling out medical coverage for all, both part-time and full-time workers.
It’s unsurprising that a supermarket that would go to such lengths would also go above and beyond to help its employees during the Coronavirus pandemic. They promise to cover all costs of testing and hospitalization should an employee fall ill.
You might not recognize a lot of their brands, but that’s not to say they aren’t good! You will find everything you’d find in an American-owned supermarket, just with different packaging. Heck, you’ll even bring home a taste of Europe and see what the people on the other side of the pond like to eat.
Let’s hope they’ll expand their locations nationwide since as of right now only residents between Northern New Jersey and Georgia can enjoy Lidl’s delicious and affordable products.
P.S.: You should absolutely give their bakery a try!
