COVID-19: Trump Administration vs. Biden Administration

In comparison, the Biden administration made major progress. It boosted the number of doses that were administered. To make things clearer, we’ll give you the numbers: the U.S. is currently giving over 2 million shots per day, on average, compared to just 900,000 when the Biden administration started.

A couple of weeks before the end of Trump’s mandate, the number of shots were steadily starting to increase. Even so, the new administration has enhanced vaccine supply, but also its availability. That’s thanks to the addition of federally supported sites: more than 400 community centers, and new mass vaccination sites opened in California, Texas, and New York.
