Jury Pay Given to Employer

If you’ve been on jury duty then you probably know that employers typically continue to pay workers their full salaries during said jury duty! When this happens, employees have to hand over their jury pay to their employers.

No matter what, the IRS still requires you to report those jury fees as taxable income! So even if you’ve handed them over, this is still a requirement. So just remember that you can deduct the amount you give to your employer!
