7. Owning a pet

Our beloved pets are more than just furry friends. We might say that they are the source of our health, especially when the bond between you and your pet is indestructible.

A bunch of studies found that owning a pet has numerous benefits for our health. For instance, one study concluded that the risk of death from any cause (apart from having a car accident or something similar) could be reduced by up to 25 percent simply by owning a pet.

Another study published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology said that cat owners also see a reduction in the risk of death related to heart issues such as stroke.
