5. Pike Place Market

The famous location can be found in Seattle and you’ll definitely hear about it a lot because it’s the first and the largest market in the city. If you are a food lover, you’ll definitely have a great time at Pike Place Market. You can walk around the stalls full of fresh fruit, from apples to peaches, depending on the season. And you can mix them with the collection of cheeses if you want an authentic taste.

Of course, if you go to Pike Place, you’ll need to take a picture with Rachel the Piggy Bank, the famous bronze sculpture that has become the official mascot of the market. You can also enjoy a live fishing show, called “flying fish” where fishermen throw the catch from one another while engaging the visitors in conversations.

If you take a walk to explore all the stores in Pike Place Market, you might be surprised to find Starbucks there. But guess what, you have the opportunity to see the first Starbucks ever.
