6. Staten Island Ferry

If you are a tourist in New York and you think you’ve seen all the main attraction, don’t forget about the Staten Island Ferry. You’ve definitely seen it in a lot of famous movies and TV series. It’s a commuter ferry you can take from The Whitehall Terminal at the tip of Manhattan, all the way to the St. George Terminal on Staten Island. Annually, it provides services for 22 million people. 

You can admire the amazing skyscrapers and you can take a closer look at Statue of Liberty. If you want a night trip, you can have that. The ferry is open everyday for 24 hours. And most importantly, it’s free, so pay attention to people that try to sell fake ferry tickets.
