Salma Hayek has never felt the need to hide her dyslexia and instead even said that the condition has helped her in her career. In fact, she even went as far as to say that it never bothered her in the first place since she was a “quick learner”.
The Mexican-born actress was diagnosed in high school, but she found that the learning disorder helped her memorize her lines a lot quicker. How? Well, actors and actresses who don’t have any reading difficulties might need to go over the material several times in order to remember it, but Hayek prides herself on only needing to read her scrips once, very carefully, in order to retain all the information.
How’s that for a superpower!?
