Actor Whoopi Goldberg always knew something was different about the way she learned, but she didn’t know she had dyslexia until later in life. Although Goldberg was bullied by her classmates, her mother assured her that she could achieve anything.

Beloved co-host of The View, Whoopi Goldberg wasn’t aware of her reading disorder until later on in life. For a long time, she had no idea that what she experienced had a name- dyslexia.

When her mother found out that she was bullied at school for having trouble reading, she assured her that she could achieve anything. And, we have to say, she was 100% on the money!

After all, Goldberg is one of just sixteen entertainers to have won a Grammy Award, an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award!
