Not Monitoring Your Accounts

Some people may not want to use their credit cards for online purchases, but they are pretty secure, so you should consider doing this in order to avoid online shopping mistakes and fraudulent purchases.

If you do, however, it’s always a good idea to monitor your account activity. It really pays to be safe and diligent, as you might discover unauthorized purchases and other unusual expenditures. When and if you do, report them immediately in order to get your money back!

So, even if you’ve only used your credit card once, it’s best to keep an eye on that account from that point on.
