Fake Apps

This one shouldn’t be a problem for a while, but we still decided to include it on our list because it can cause huge financial problems for you around the holidays.

Black Friday apps spring up around the holidays and they go around like hot cakes. But did you know that a 2017 RiskIQ found that one in 25 of them are actually fake? These apps, designed to steal your information while also downloading malware on your laptop or computer, often look like the real deal.
