Bypassing Sketchy Contact Information

You’ll notice that a lot of your favorite retailers have two very important pages on their website, their “About Us” and “Contact Us” pages.

These are meant to build up their reputation and trustworthiness. On the “About Us” page you’ll find some information about the company, their mission, values and background. The “Contact Us” page is reserved for when customers have questions or problems they need to report.

When visiting a new retailer’s website, always check these pages first and make sure they provide an available line of communication. If they don’t think twice about ordering anything from them and look for alternatives on other websites that you already know and trust.
