Your Supervisor Becomes a Control Freak

If your boss/supervisor/manager has been criticizing and hovering your basic tasks more than ever, maybe he/she is trying to get you to retire. At least that’s what a former deputy director for the California Department of Social Services says.

It’s not fair, but it isn’t illegal either. Your supervisor can legally act like a control freak even when you’re not doing anything wrong (quite the opposite), meaning he/she is not actually entitled to make your day miserable. And it may not be his/her fault either. Maybe they are just following the big boss’s instructions.
