You can collect everything from coins, (comic) books, vinyl records, paintings to antique furniture, toys, old-school phones, and fine art, but if you’re doing it thinking that one day they will be worth thousands of dollars, they aren’t worth buying.

Buy them only if they bring you joy! If you’re purchasing collectibles for money, they will most likely end up forgotten in your basement or attic.

17. ‘As Seen on TV’ Products

Who needs sauna pants or Veggetti (a kitchen gadget that turns your vegetables into spaghetti)??? Yeah, no one! Most ‘as seen on TV’ products are absurd, and if you already have one, you probably regret buying it.

Paul Moyer of SavingFreak.com said that only a small part of the items you see on infomercials is indeed worth your money; the rest are a total no-no.
