Answer this: how many times have you used your tent in the last three years? Two times? Three times? If you don’t camp on a regular basis like each month, there’s literally no point in purchasing expensive camping gear.

Now, you can rent everything you want, including tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, chairs, and hammocks. So, if you’ve been collecting more dust than memories lately, forget about buying even more camping gear.

8. Video Cameras

Hello! Wake up! If you’re not a professional photographer, why on earth would you buy a video camera? For what? Your smartphone could do the trick too. In fact, some smartphones take better pictures and videos than some cameras.

It’s a pointless purchase, especially if you’re buying it just for the sake of having one because ‘you never know when you might need it.’
