September is another good month to plan your holiday, if the Coronavirus pandemic will ever allow us to. Buying plane tickets now will save you tens of dollars, especially if you visit Travelocity and Priceline, Wanderu, or Momondo.
You’ll notice a lot of new car models coming out this time of year, so you can find good deals on previous models- we recommend checking out Costco’s car-buying program.
Smartphone and Apple fans know that this is the month of new releases. Get your hands on older models for a lot cheaper if you’re on the market for a new phone.
After the back-to-school rush, retailers will hold even more sales on computers and denim. The Long Labor Day weekend will also reintroduce discounts in mattresses. Other summer must-haves are on sale now too such as patio furniture, lawn mowers, perennial Plants and sunglasses.
Last but not least, thanks to the National Coffee Day which falls on September 29, you might get your hands on a free cup of coffee!
October
In October you can expect to see more sales on remaining summer stock. From grills to lawn mowers, to bikes, all these items will be heavily discounted in order to make room on the racks for new products. For mowers go to Home Depot, Walmart and Sears. For Bikes, Amazon is a great place to shop.
You can find the best deals on air conditioners, and you’ll still find discounts on new cars, camping gear and denim.
If you’re looking for Halloween decorations and costumes, you’ll see them popping up around mid-October. And if you haven’t gone around to planning your vacation just yet, you might still find some travel deals.
