For only $13, you can actually get a Gillette ProGlide razor with two blade refills, and if you thought that Gillette is a pretty expensive brand, you probably haven’t heard of the Zafirro Iridium razor. This razor costs $100,000 (yes, you read that right).

Apparently, the Zafirro Iridium razor is designed by the same experts involved in rocket engine manufacturing, particle physics, and nanotechnology. Now you may think, what on earth has nanotechnology to do with razors… (I actually wonder the same.)

Well… it seems that the Zafirro Iridium razor is the first razor made with sapphire blades that also features a handle made from almost 100 percent pure iridium and platinum hexagonal screws.
