Because all of us were forced to spend the vast majority of time at home, some people thought that it’s the right time to make certain home improvements. Both Home Depot and Lowe’s saw a major increase in sales, especially when it comes to items like DIY supplies (wall paneling, paint, spray paint, glue, silicone tubes, etc.) once the first round of stimulus checks dropped.

Experts in the field are anticipating a similar trend regarding the third stimulus checks. The enthusiasm for DIY projects tends to increase more rapidly than ever, and this could only mean that people get bored inside, and they really need a more welcoming home and a place that makes them forget about what’s going on out there. That’s why garden furniture saw an increase in sales, too.
