Here’s How Americans Are Spending Their Stimulus Money

From a financial point of view, it’s really sad when we think about the fact that many Americans used their stimulus checks to dine out. However, we should also consider the psychological point of view… More and more people are diagnosed with depression due to isolation, so eating at a restaurant on your stimulus check might be judgy at first, but it’s completely understandable.

According to Revenue Management Solutions, the first round of stimulus checks increased the sales of most restaurant chains by as much as 12 percent. The trend didn’t disappear with the second stimulus check either. Luckily for the Horeca industry, as temperatures rise, people tend to spend more time outdoors, so they could expect another increase in sales.
