Here’s How Americans Are Spending Their Stimulus Money

Whether for socializing, work, or entertainment, the coronavirus pandemic has forced many Americans to purchase devices with their first rounds of stimulus money. Some needed to upgrade their old laptops (or computers) in order to work more efficiently, while others just wanted to hear from friends and family with the help of certain apps that require android or IOS devices.

Every single electronics store saw an increase in sales at the time when the stimulus checks began to show. Products for gaming were particularly in demand, and it’s not that surprising since people wanted to occupy their time with something fun to do.

To give you a hint on how Americans have spent their first stimulus money, PlayStation 5 console sales boomed on 17 March, when the vast majority of Americans received their checks.
