3. Know the clearance codes

If you’re a regular shopper at Target, you probably know that clearance items are Target’s best deals, but what you may now know are clearance items’ codes. According to Palmer, items will get marked down to 15 or 30 percent first, then to 50 percent, ending up at 70 percent off.

In other words, if you’re on a clearance items’ hunt, you should look after red and yellow stickers. The new price should be in the top right-hand corner. Ahh, and if the price ends in $0.04, it means that the item you’ve been searching for reached the lowest markdown.
