5. Use Target’s wedding registry — No matter if you’re getting married or not

Even if you’re not getting married or planning a baby soon, using Target’s wedding or baby registry is a surefire way to save more money on big-ticket products. Founder of MomBeach.com, Becky Beach, said that Target would give you a coupon for 15 percent off after the date of your registry.

She said that she used the coupon to buy a brand new TV set. You can save even more! If you use the 5 percent you get for shopping at Target with the REDcard and the 15 percent as well, you can 20 percent discount on a big-ticket item.
