Sure, you can score some great deals at the Costco pharmacy and even save up to 80 percent on prescription medication. For instance, the price of a generic drug required for Bell’s palsy treatment can go up to $200; at Costco, you can pay less than $39 for it. But there’s a catch: you get to benefit from these low prices only if Costco is included in your insurance plan. Otherwise, it’s better to go to other pharmacies where you can find better discount prices on medications.
“If your insurance plan has a network and Costco is not a preferred pharmacy in it, your medications will likely be cheaper somewhere else,” says Danielle Kunkle Roberts, co-founder of Boomer Benefits. One fast and efficient way to compare prices and find the best ones is to use apps such as GoodRx.com. Give it a try!

I am a very conscientious consumer down to the price of something per ounce and weather or not I’ll use it. Although the fruits and vegetables is true I rarely buy them at Costco because they will spoil. So many other are untrue or misleading. Deli meats, even on sale at my local grocer deli meats aren’t cheaper. I would like to see you give a price comparison on TV’s and they double the warranty. Can goods generic is usually a lower quality and you are saying I have to catch them on sale. This seems to be an article just to bash Costco which I’ve seen people doing because of their stance on the pandemic. Which is sad.
