Cold cuts and meat
Cold cuts are something else that’s not going to save you any money if you buy at Costco. Same goes for meat. You’ll probably have a higher chance of finding good deals for deli meats like ham and turkey at your local grocery store. Another perk of buying them from the grocery store is that you don’t have to buy large quantities and them throw them away…just like you’d do with your money if you bought them at Costco.
The secret is getting the foods you want on sale. You might have to leaf through a few weekly ad circulars announcing the latest local grocery specials, but you’ll surely find “similar products for $2 per pound less when on sale,” says Mark Charnet. While you’re at it, watch out for coupons that also offer great value and savings.

I am a very conscientious consumer down to the price of something per ounce and weather or not I’ll use it. Although the fruits and vegetables is true I rarely buy them at Costco because they will spoil. So many other are untrue or misleading. Deli meats, even on sale at my local grocer deli meats aren’t cheaper. I would like to see you give a price comparison on TV’s and they double the warranty. Can goods generic is usually a lower quality and you are saying I have to catch them on sale. This seems to be an article just to bash Costco which I’ve seen people doing because of their stance on the pandemic. Which is sad.
