Top 10 Cities Where Single Homeownership Rates Are At an All-Time High

This coastal city is Florida’s fifth-largest city, with incredible weather, affordable living costs and year-round activities for people of all ages. When it comes to real estate, the median home price is $154,800, 7% lower than the Florida average and 16% lower than the national average.

The single homeownership rate increased by 4.43% between 2015 and 2019. The average housing cost per month for a homeowner who also has to pay mortgage amounts to $1,558, which is $380 more expensive than the median monthly rent of $1,178.
