CANADA: Considering it a part of the United States
Canadians are well known for their extreme politeness and for the fact that they apologize for the mistakes that other people make. They are far more polite than Americans, that’s for sure. What they are also known for, but many Americans tend to overlook, is their discontent when being treated as part of the United States.
If you visit our neighbors assuming everything is just like in the US, don’t expect to be treated with their renowned respect and friendliness because they won’t.
