  • Prince and Chem Trails – Although we all remember Prince as a man of few words, there is a rare and candid interview with him in 2009, when he shocked the world with his beliefs. In the interview, he talked about Obama, some problems of his childhood and some of his strange beliefs. He explained how he believed in the chem trails conspiracy theory. Basically, he believed that jets and airplanes drop harmful and potentially deadly chemicals by releasing their smoky exhaust. The chem trails are supposed to be a real threat to people and the Earth’s environment.
  • Fran Drescher and Alien Abduction – We all know Fran from her funny role on “The Nanny” in the ’90s. In recent years, she has made headlines for her dubious experiences and beliefs. Not only does she believe that aliens exist, but she knows that she’s been abducted by them. In 2012, Drescher explained how she was abducted by aliens several years before, and even had a chip implanted in her hand…by aliens.
  • Foo Fighters and HIV/AIDS Denialism – Although Foo Fighters will always be one of the best rock and roll bands of all time, their beliefs were a bit…off, to say at least. Basically, Foo Fighters were strong believers that HIV does not cause AIDS. HIV/AIDS denialists believed that HIV itself doesn’t exist, or that is just a harmless passenger disease that might sometimes come with AIDS, but even so, doesn’t cause it.
  • Missy Elliot and Black Cats – Missy Elliot is one of the most influential rappers in the late 1990s/early 2000s. She has an extremely weird belief, to which she holds on tightly, and it involves black cats. If Missy Elliot comes across a black cat while she’s out and about, she will stop right there and immediately go home. It doesn’t matter if she was about to go somewhere important or not.
