12 Things You Should Never Say over Text or Email

Insults

In the same vein, hurling insults at anyone over text is never a good idea. Not only is it rude, but it’s also much easier to say things you’ll later regret with the help of a glass screen between you and the person you’re talking to. Ask yourself, would you really say all those things to someone’s face?

It might feel good initially, but that’s just because you’re releasing tension. It’ll just make the situation worse in the long run, whatever it is. Plus, we guarantee you’ll lose some respect, as most people find insults over text or emails, in a personal setting or otherwise, very cowardly.

Anything negative or sarcastic

There are two reasons why you shouldn’t send sarcastic or negative texts and emails. The first is that your tone might not translate well in written form. Your intentions might be misjudged and the recipient could end up feeling extremely frustrated with you. Plus, without any body language to go off of, they may further misinterpret your words.

Secondly, you can’t undo texts or emails. Heavens know when they might resurface and what the repercussions will be. Who knows, you might regret what you said years or even months down the line, but by then it’ll be too late!

  1. Most of these our president is guilty of doing. Tell him to read this article and maybe he’ll learn. Or maybe he will convince you that his way is the correct way and that you are wrong. After all, he’s the president and always right.
