- How we work – Now, working comes with two options: people either work in person and face lots of protocols and potential exposure to Covid-19, or they work from home, glued to their kitchen tables and deprived of the social aspect of their lives. There are also hybrid solutions, where many companies consider ditching the traditional office for a co-working space. Even so, many discuss that the death of the traditional office is close, even though there isn’t solid proof for that.
- How we parent – Parents throughout the world had to face a huge amount of stress and worry while raising their children during the pandemic. And for many parents, this stress reached its peak when schools, businesses, and daycares had to close due to specific health orders. Also, the lack of socializing is worrying for many, as they try to understand how the pandemic must feel for a child.
- How we do schooling – Without the possibility of face-to-face interaction with their teachers and friends, many children have experienced the effects of deep isolation and screen fatigue. There are activities like sports, musicals, and graduation ceremonies that have happened either virtually or not at all.
- How we socialize – How many grandparents have learned how to use Zoom? How many people held their birthday parties and holiday meetings online? Some of us lost touch with our friends and deepened our connections with others. Even so, everything changed.
- How we do food – The pandemic changed how we eat, get groceries and enjoy food as well. Now, most restaurants have the option of pickup, and the grocery-delivering apps are extremely used. The most interesting aspect is that people have started to cook more at home rather than going out.
