- How we worship – Last spring, many churches had moved to online services, while some transitioned to in-person worship. But activities like giving communion and singing had to be rethought and adapted to these times. For many, social hours and church dinners are now something to be remembered in memories.
- How we do weddings – We all know that 2020 was the year with the most delayed or even canceled weddings. And for those that took place, were made in much smaller, and intimate ceremonies, with masked guests, to avoid becoming an event where many got sick. But on the premise of conquering and adapting, smaller weddings are now fashionable, so businesses have started to get creative.
- How we do business – When the pandemic hit, many businesses changed the way they were getting their goods and services to their customers. Even more, online options and increased social media presence have never been better, increasing customer bases and becoming even more valuable.
- How we get outside – As social distancing was considered to be easier outside, many local, state, and national parks have become more and more popular. People started to search for leisure and fitness activities that weren’t forbidden by Covid-19 rules.
- How we take care of the elderly – One thing is for sure, there’s no group that’s been hit harder by the pandemic than the elderly. Most of the Covid-19 deaths and hospitalizations were in this age group, and the threat of the virus forced many to isolate themselves, which was a great downside to their mental health.
- How we mourn the ones we lost – Funerals are another item on this list that has been altered. While it isn’t clear yet how funerals will be in a post-pandemic era, for now, smaller and more intimate ceremonies are in place, as much as a hybrid model that provides virtual opportunities.
