It’s safe to say that political fact-checkers have more than earned their paychecks since Donald Trump became our Commander and Chief on January 20, 2017. According to the Washington Post, President Trump has made 16,241 false or misleading claims in his first three years of office.

With that astonishing number of falsehoods, it is little wonder that many outside his base of supporters are taking his statements on the current outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) with not just a pinch of salt, but probably a whole truckload.
