Bill Gates Is Going to Microchip You

Sticking with 5G, another conspiracy theory that has been doing the rounds is that the billionaire philanthropist and his wife Belinda, who have poured billions into global healthcare, have done so in order to implant every human being with a microchip so they can be tracked. A survey conducted by Yahoo News and YouGov, revealed some staggering statistics, with more than a quarter of all Americans and 44% of Republicans believing this is Gate’s agenda.

It seems that the theory stems from a 2015 TED talk Gates held in Vancouver where he called for the world to prepare for the next health epidemic, the Ebola outbreak was entering its third year at this point. In the talk, he would make a rather prescient statement that would come back to haunt him. Gates said, “If anything kills over 10 million people over the next few decades, it is likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than war,”
