How the Federal Government and States were coordinated
Under President Trump, all states and their local officials were completely on their own. There were 50 states going in 50 different directions, which led to the overall chaos. The Biden administration strongly fought to aim toward a better collaboration between the states.
And yes, each and every area of the country needed a custom answer. Even so, public health experts believe that a safer and clearer federal guidance would have saved many more lives.
