When applying for a driver’s license in Florida, it would be a smart move to register your vehicle in Florida, as well. Boats or RVs can also be registered. This will confirm even more you consider yourself a permanent resident of the Sunshine State.
The registration fee you’ll be required to pay will depend on the type and/or weight of your vehicles. Check the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ website for a full list of motor vehicles and their associated registration fees. Besides registering your car, truck or other motor vehicles, it’s also recommended to find an auto insurance carrier and insure them in Florida, as well.
