With the way Lyft and Uber had taken off, it’s downright impossible not to land a job as a driver for either of the services. The benefit of setting your own schedule is a huge reason so many drivers flock to this sort of part-time gig. Some even use it on their way to their regular jobs, not missing any opportunity to earn some cash.
If you live in a big city you’ll find lots of work, but keep in mind you’ll boost the miles on your car, and you might even bump into some less savory customers. But hey, that’s just a given working in any type of industry.

Thanks to Tasktrabbit, gone are the days when you have to scour the internet for odd jobs just to get a little extra cash in your pocket. Signing up requires a bit more effort than filling out a form. You’ll have to attend an onboarding session, but once you do you’ll be notified of tasks in your area.
