Los Alamos is actually the birthplace of the atomic bomb, and despite this troubling fact, this historic suburb is an excellent place for those who seek adventures and want to spend more time outdoors. Plus, the public school system is great.
It has great communities for those who left the work field, too, with many things to visit such as Bandelier National Monument, Bradbury Science Museum, Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op, or Pajarito Mountain Ski Area.
8. Ardmore, Pennsylvania
If you’re looking to settle down in a great suburban neighborhood, Ardmore should be your answer. It just has that feel of the perfect suburb. It is also abundant in excellent bars, great coffee shops, unique restaurants, and parks—plenty of things to choose from.
