4. Winco Foods
Winco Foods has been a favorite in the inland Northwest, and after their performance during the pandemic, we’re sure glad they’ve begun expanding down the west coast, all the way to San Diego!
Those who struggled to make ends meet knew they could rely on the supermarket to bring them affordable items just when they needed them most. Even before this unprecedented economic downturn, they’ve stayed loyal to their customers by maintaining their low prices. So, even as shoppers had to face the shocking rise in the cost of living department, Winco Foods supported their most essential needs without skyrocketing the prices.
What’s more, their approach to Coronavirus guidelines helped their employees as well, implementing social distancing queues outside their stores. By ensuring that crowds were avoided at all times, they probably helped slow down the spread of the virus significantly. The cherry on top was the fact that they even handed out freshly-sanitized carts!
The supermarket was spacious, to begin with, but the added steps taken to ensure everyone’s safety have made every shopping trip since the beginning of the lockdown in March feel that much more relaxing!
