Anywhere in Vermont
Moving to Vermont is a no brainer, especially since the Vermont’s New Worker Relocation Grant will offer you up to $7,500 in moving expenses after you prove that you’re a full-time resident and a full-time employee of a qualifying Vermont business. Just make sure you keep all documentation of your expenses in order for the money to be provided for you!
Sadly, if you were looking for remote work, the program that was covering such opportunities ran out of funding, so it is no longer available.
Still, it’s a great opportunity that allows you to move anywhere in the state, whether you like cozy rural places or always-on-the-move urban scenes. The funding also applies to those that have already moved to Vermont after January 1st, 2020!
Baltimore, Maryland
Want to purchase a home in the city of Baltimore? It’s never been easier and more financially clever to do so thanks to the city’s Homeownership Incentives.
If you find a job with a city agency and work there for at least six months, you could earn $5,000. You could also attend a Trolly Tour and, if you meet certain conditions, you could enter a lottery and win a $5,000 award.
Finally, if your household income is at 80% or below the area’s median income and you’re a first time home buyer, you could receive at least $5,000, with another $5,000 given to those who have rented and occupied a house for at least six months or if a household member has a disability.
