Sunscreen and lotion have a longer life span, of up to three years if kept in proper storage conditions, namely in a dark space to prevent light from causing the separation of ingredients and at room temperature. If exposed to hot temperatures, sunscreen and lotions will not be as potent and effective.
The multipacks found at warehouse clubs might come with discounted prices but before you put one in your shopping cart, make sure you check the expiration date. You wouldn’t want to buy 3 bottles of lotion only to throw two of them away, would you?
