Improve fire safety
According to 2019 statistics, a home structure fire occurred every 93 seconds in the U.S. Residential fires can be caused by defective electrical appliances, open fires and heaters, or unsupervised cooking. While the numbers are scary, house fires can be avoided if a proper fire safety system is implemented.
First thing’s first: check your smoke alarms. Perform regular tests and maintenance works to make sure they function properly and can detect and warn you in case of a fire. Secondly, buy fire extinguishers and keep them somewhere handy. Thirdly, check your electronics, cable and wires for any signs of wear and tear and replace them if necessary. Finally, cook with care!
