If you’re searching for efficient but inexpensive ways to have an amazing lawn, don’t fall for the low prices of some grass seed brands, warns Bryan Clayton, CEO of GreenPal, which ensures the liaison between consumers and lawn care professionals. According to Clayton, cheaper grass seeds include 10 to 20 percent weeds and other unknown ingredients.
“Don’t try to cut corners on the seed that you buy for your lawn,” recommends Clayton. This can lead to infesting your lawn with weeds and annulling all your work. To prevent that from happening, buy quality name-brand seed, even if you pay a little more money. It will all pay off next spring.
