You Feel Like You’re Treated Way Differently Than Younger Colleagues

When your boss or manager treats you differently than your younger colleagues, don’t have second thoughts… he/she is trying to send you a clear message: It’s time for you to retire. Here’s a good example: A younger colleague of yours receives an important and more desirable assignment even though you are actually more qualified and suitable to do it.

That’s definitely a red flag! Try to take a closer look at your boss’s attitude towards your younger co-workers and you. Write down everything you think it’s unusual. Try to interact as much as you can with your employer to determine the root cause of his/her unexplained actions.
